falta?

Oct 13th
Today was a lazy day. I didn’t feel exactly up to par and laid down for a bit. My family was busy scurrying around, finishing the dress they sewed for stefys graduation party. Overall just a lot of getting ready. I also was pretty productive and finished one of my papers, sent it to my editor, and after that went to the store and bought stuff for the cooking class this week. We are making chocolate chip cookies. But not regular chocolate chip cookies, the recipe I found called for vanilla pudding…we will see how it goes. Now I am waiting to go to the “lunch” but I its really dinner, and the boliche afterwards. Yikes. I am a bit stressed since I am just literally going along for the ride and don’t really know how to get home or anything. I figure I don’t have to worry about it since I am going with my family but I still do. Should be interesting. My feet are feeling better but didn’t really want to risk the high heels so everyone else is fashionable and I am a bit…not. But whatever.
The night was interesting. It was like a graduation night but they only had about 20 or even less people in their class. they gave everyone awards and I didn’t understand a lot of them. But the one my host sister got I understood. “Ms. Falta” “Ms. Skipper.” Yikes…the family wasn’t too excited about that one. A slide show of everyone’s baby pictures and food. It was pretty enjoyable considering how boring some of those can be. Funny how different, yet the same it was from something in the states. After it had a dance, but I cut out early with all the old people. I had a headache and just was feeling blah.
