Beginning to think this pilgrimage thing wasn’t such a good idea. I am getting a bit frustrated at the fact that I can barely walk a block, and that all the old women pass me up doing it. Today I had to venture out of the apartment only twice, once to drop my laundry off (4 blocks of walking total) and once for a tutoring session…lots more walking. I am not sure what I am going to do when I actually have classes. I take public transportation, but I hadn’t realized how much I actually walk here. The bus stop is about 4 or 5 blocks away and the subte station as well, so even if I do take public transportation I still have to walk to or from my house. I feel even stupider that I could have not done it and avoided all this trouble (and pain). But que se yo, asi es la vida.
